George Bush International Airport
Located about 75 minutes
north of the port this will be the most common airport you fly into when cruising out of Galveston.
It has many hotels and restaurants to choose from within a 15 minute radius. Transportation to the port is
available ranging from taxis and uber to the cruise shuttles. There is also the available rental cars on
site.
Finding Your Ride
George Bush International Airport is laid out in a straight line with roads along either side running
parallel to the airport. Depending on which terminal you are flying into you may need to navigate to another
terminal. All of the following locations are from the baggage claim area.
Taxis
Pick up – outside Baggage Claim/Arrivals Level, Terminals A, B, C and E
Terminal A: south side, Door A-115
Terminal B: south side, B-103
Terminal C: south side, Door C-105
Terminal E: south side, Door E-103 B
Follow signs to "Ground Transportation"
Exits are marked with "Taxis"
Rideshare
Pick up - outside Baggage Claim/Arrivals Level, Terminals A and C
Terminal A: west side, Doors A-113 and A-114
Terminal C: south side, Door C-105
Terminal B: Door 102-S
Terminals D and E: passengers using Ride App should board Skyway or Subway to Terminals A or C
Cruise Shuttle
You will need to navigate to the south side of either Terminals A or C.
Cruise lines that serve IAH will have desks in the baggage claim area.
Cruise and Charter Bus operators will direct you to your bus.
Cruise and Charter Busses depart from the south side of Terminals A and C.
William P. Hobby Airport
Located about 50 minutes north of the port this will be the airport you likely fly in if you are are flying
Southwest Airlines, Allegiant, or Frontier. There are a good amount of hotels and restaurants in the area.
Transportation to the port is available ranging from taxis and uber to the cruise shuttles. There is also
the available rental cars on site.
Finding Your Ride
With a fairly small and simple layout navigating Hobby Airport will be a breeze. You will follow the signs
to Ground Transportation from the baggage claim area. Once outside you will see multiple curb zones.
Directly to the left will be Rental Car Shuttles
to take you to pick up a rental car. Zone two will be for taxis. Zone three you will find Hotel/Motel
shuttles. Zone Four will have your Cruise and Charter Busses as well as Limos. Zone Five is where you will
find rideshare companies (uber,lyft,etc).
Port Galveston Terminals
Port Galveston has 3 terminals with one more under construction. There is a wide range of hotels within a
short distance of the port.
Terminal 10
Terminal 10 is for Royal Caribbean.
There is parking available both on and off site.
Terminal 25
Terminal 25 hosts Carnival Cruises, Princess Cruises and Disney
Parking on site with shuttles available at a cost.
Terminal 28
Terminal 28 hosts Carnival Cruises, Princess Cruises, Norwegian Cruise Line, and Disney
Parking on site with shuttles available at a cost.
Terminal 16
Terminal 16 is under construction currently but will host MSC and NCL
