Los Angeles/Long Beach

Airport

LAX Airport is one of the two airports we recommend using to fly in for your cruise departing Los Angeles / Long Beach. This airport is an approximately 35 minute drive from the terminal in San Pedro (LA) and 45 minutes to the terminal in Long beach. Hotel options are best if you are staying near either of the airports or downtown Long Beach.

Finding Your Ride

With 9 Terminals LAX is a sprawling airport with a center road section.
For Taxis and rideshare pickup you will need to get to the LAX-IT lot. Shuttles are outside of each terminal and run continuously to the lot. Look for the green LAX-IT Signs. Once there you can be picked up by a taxi, uber, lyft, etc. Hotel shuttles and other shuttles will be outside of each terminal. For rental vehicles you will look for shuttles next to the purple rental car sign located outside of each terminal.

Alternative Airport

LGB Airport is the other common airport you would be flying into. It is roughly 25 minutes from the terminal in San Pedro and 20 minutes from the port in Long Beach.

Find your ride

LGB makes it incredibly easy to find your ride. Once you exit the Airport your rideshare will be able to pick you up at the center curb. For Taxis you will see a line of them across the street to the right. Shuttles will be in the center lane as well!

San Pedro Cruise Terminal

San Pedro has two cruise terminals located right next to eachother. The two berths (92 and 93) can be used by any of the cruiselines operating out of San Pedro. Parking is available on site and is free for the first hour. After that, it is $2 per hour with a 20$ daily max.

Long beach Cruise Terminal

The Long Beach Cruise Terminal is home to one pier exclusively for Carnival Cruise Line.

Hotels

We can help you reserve the right hotel for your needs, from basic to deluxe. As an agency, we travel frequently from these ports and have spent a lot of nights in hotels!
Our suggestions have all been vetted. Not that any individual stay in any property on the planet can’t have things go goofy, our recommendations are generally pretty solid in our experiences.
