Primary Airport (MCO)
This will be the most common airport you will fly into when traveling to Port Canaveral. The airport is located about 50 minutes from the port. The airport is also home to a large number of hotels and restaurants
within a 10-15 minute drive of the airport.
Alternative Airport (SFB)
If you are flying out of central Illinois or happen to be using Allegiant SFB Sanford will be the airport you fly in to! Travel time to the port will gain about 20-30 minutes traffic permitting.
As with flying into Orlando International Airport there are a large number of hotel rooms within a 10-15 minute drive of the airport as well as around Port Canaveral.
Alternative Airport (MLB)
Another alternative airport you may find yourself at is MLB Melbourne. This airport puts you around 45 minutes south of Port Canaveral.
If you are driving yourself there are a few routes you can take to the port including a coastside trek through Cocoa Beach. Same as the other two airports there are a large number of hotel rooms
within close proximity to the airport and even more as you pass Cocoa Beach into Port Canaveral.
Finding Your Ride
MCO airport is laid out in a four leaf clover configuration. The two main terminals are the A and B terminals and are laid in the center of the clover. You will exit the airplane and navigate to the shuttle in the center of your gate area.
Once in Terminal A or B you will find the baggage claim, rental cars, and ground transportation. Leaving the airport comes with a few options. Your rideshare vehicles will be available on Level 2 of Terminal A and B. Terminal C will be on level 6.
Taxis, Limos, Shuttles, and Cruise Transfers will be located on Level 1 for both A and B and Level 6 for C. Taxi fare to Port Canaveral will run approximately $115 and Limousine from $50-$90 per hour.
